FAQ Session with Abby of Juicy Looks Makeup Artistry – What to Ask Your Makeup Artist

We’re starting a new feature on the blog where we ask some of our favorite wedding professionals  to share some of the frequently most asked questions from brides, and their answers. Our hopes is that the feature will help enlighten you, and also give you questions to think about asking when searching for your vendors.

1. What is required to hold my wedding date?   For by brides, I require a signed contract and 50% deposit to save your date. The deposit goes towards your final bill.

2. On my wedding day, do you travel to my location or do I come to you?   For your convenience, makeup will be done at your choice of location.

3. Do I need a makeup trial?   Makeup trials are really important, so I always encourage these. This is when we will discuss the details of your wedding such as the type of look you would like to wear, colors of your wedding, hairstyle, theme etc. I will then create the discussed look to your satisfaction. I will also take the time to answer any questions that you may have.

4. Can you stay to do touch-up on the bride until she is ready to walk down the aisle?   Depending on which package you choose, yes I am able to stay. This may only apply to those taking pictures before the wedding ceremony. If that is the case, I can stay for up to three hours.

5. Can you stay all-day?   I offer various packages, so depending on which Juicy Look package you choose, yes I am available to stay all-day (up to 8 hours).

6. How long will my makeup stay on?   Your makeup will stay on until you remove it at night :)

7. Do you tie gele?   Yes I tie gele perfectly well. Check out my “Bridal Engagement” portfolio to see some of my work!
