Sabrina and Jaylen’s Chic Romance Brooklyn Engagement

High School sweethearts, Sabrina and Jaylen's journey of love began on a seemingly ordinary school day when during an outing at Prospect Park they struck up a first conversation. After that initial connection, in Sabrina's words, she "knew that he had to be mine." It wouldn't be long before her pursuits paid off and their relationship became official. Some of their favorite things to do include travel, culinary explorations, or snuggling up to a good movie. They look forward to meeting each other on the aisle as husband and wife.

Tell us how you met. Jaylen and I met in high school. He was a junior and I was a senior. The first time Jaylen spoke to me was when we trained at Prospect Park. He thought I was a freshmen, the nerve of him. However, at that initial conversation I knew that he had to be mine. I continued to pursue him until December 20th, 2009 when he officially asked me to be his girlfriend.

Describe your engagement session. The engagement session was truly exciting. All feelings of nervousness disappeared when we arrived at the shooting location. The theme of the shoot was a “A couple in Brooklyn.”

What did you do on your first date? Our first date was in highschool, so of course we went to the movies.

What's your favorite thing to do as a couple? Travel the world, Netflix & chill, go to amusement parks, and go out to eat.

How has wedding planning been so far? Wedding planning has had its ups and downs. All in all, it has been very exciting.There are still a lot of minor details that need to be finalized.

Tell us what you're looking forward to most on the wedding day. Jaylen is looking forward to seeing his beautiful bride walk down the aisle.
