Can your makeup stand up to the heat and humidity?

If you are getting married in the summer, I am sure that you have had your makeup trial. However, I want to pose a question. Are you concerned about your makeup melting in the heat? I have met a few brides that told me that was a concern. On one of the most memorable days of your life, you want to think that your makeup is the last thing you have to focus on. You don’t want to have to take time away from your ceremony, pictures, cocktail or reception having to have an artist, or even yourself, touch your face up. You need to be picture perfect in every photo. If you have not locked down your MUA (Makeup Artist), I suggest you find one that offers Airbrush Makeup. As a Makeup Artist and Esthetician, I have a pretty good understanding of how the skin works and when you add a couple of variables like humidity, adrenaline, sweat, and just nervousness, to your makeup, you run the risk of makeup melt. I have been airbrushing since 2008 and I can definitely say it has come a long way.

When I speak with other MUAs, I urge them to consider adding it to their repertoire, because as an artist, we want to make our clients (you) happy! Being able to meet your needs and provide options to you on your big day should be their priority. Time is of the essence and I believe that you should definitely try it! On your wedding day you want to be able to enjoy yourself and not worry if you look good in your pictures!
