We are really loving this bridal editorial we’re calling “vintage couture.” It was put together by a hyper-talented team based out of Chicago under the direction of Akeshi of KESH Events. Aside from the superb fashion component, we are loving the vintage head piece and the red lips of course. Can’t go wrong with color!

KESH Events presents “A Bride for Any Age.” Creating a bride for every personality, this bridal shoot was inspired by vintage, modern, and couture elegance. KESH Events believes that one of the wonderful things about planning a wedding is to be able to become the bride you always dreamed of being. The inspiration behind the shoot was to showcase real weddings with a fantasy element. With this shoot, KESH Events sought to embrace different tastes, yet still creating the wedding that is uniquely and perfectly sophisticated.

With touches of the avant garde on our couture bride, KESH Events presents a bride that is anything but traditional or classic. From the intensified updo to the statement jewelry pieces, the couture bride embraces stylized elements that can be exciting but not distracting. We wanted to show a bride who thrives on being unique and original. Our goal was to create a look that would make a lasting impact that was distinctively beautiful.

Our modern bride mixes the contemporary and classic creating the perfect bridal look that is now, but straightforward. You know who this bride, who this woman is. The modern bride goes against tradition and dismisses the conventional. She is the bride of this day and age, chic and sophisticated. Unafraid to sport a short hair cut, the bride seeks to preserve her personal style.

Lastly, from lace accents to hand-stitched embroidery, the vintage bride is a head to toe look that is an homage to our love for the past and our attention to detail. Whether it is the flapper bride from the 1920s, or the Elizabeth Taylor Hollywood vintage bride circa 1950s, KESH Events showcases historical elegance or whimsy with the vintage bride.
