The wait for Ozwald Boateng was well worth it. Ozwald Boateng presented three collections rolled into one at ARISE African Icons Spring 2013 show. Ozwald qutie frankly gave New Yorkers a brillant finale to the ARISE magazine runway show. African Male models Joshua Kissi (Ghana) and Ger Duany (South Sudan) walked the show in tailored contemporary suits and there was Ozwald’s spin on wax prints fashion.
Ozwald Boateng: “I want to support the important work ARISE is doing for African fashion. It’s good to help bring the stylistic messages of the AMFW experience of Lagos to New York.”
