1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Munaluchi LLC (“Munaluchi,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) — home of Munaluchi Bride, MunaCoterie, Muna Bride Society, and The Coterie Retreat. By accessing or using our websites, memberships, directories, communities, events, or any related products or services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
2. About Munaluchi & Our Platforms
Munaluchi LLC operates multiple brands and platforms that serve multicultural weddings and events:
- Munaluchi Bride: Editorial, magazine, and digital content.
- MunaCoterie: Vendor membership, business directory, and professional community.
- Muna Bride Society: Free community for engaged couples.
- The Coterie Retreat: Annual wedding and event industry conference.
These Terms apply to all users, including vendors, subscribers, advertisers, and readers.
3. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be posted with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our Services after changes take effect means you accept those changes.
4. Eligibility & Account Responsibilities
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase memberships or register for paid Services. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, safeguarding your login credentials, and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us at [email protected] immediately.
5. Memberships, Billing & Payments (MunaCoterie)
MunaCoterie memberships are recurring subscriptions (monthly, quarterly, or annual). By subscribing, you authorize recurring billing via our payment processor until you cancel.
You agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes. Prices are subject to change with notice. Founding or legacy rates remain active only while your membership is active and in good standing.
If a payment fails, your account may be suspended until the balance is resolved. Repeated payment failures may result in cancellation.
6. Cancellations, Renewals & No-Refund Policy
You may cancel your membership anytime through your account portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period or immediately if you choose. Even if your membership is cancelled by you, any outstanding invoices will still be billed.
All payments are non-refundable — including renewals, partial billing periods, unused features, or add-ons. Canceling stops future renewals but does not generate refunds.
If you cancel or your payment fails, any Founding or Legacy pricing is forfeited. Rejoining later will be at the current rate. Customers who file chargebacks for non-fraudulent reasons may be liable for dispute fees and may be permanently banned from future membership.
7. Founding & Legacy Pricing
Founding and legacy members receive special discounted rates as long as their membership remains active and in good standing. Canceling or allowing a failed payment permanently forfeits that rate. Rejoining later is subject to the then-current pricing.
8. Add-Ons & Features
Add-ons (such as the Quarterly Feature Boost) and a la carte purchases are billed with your base membership. They renew automatically and are also non-refundable. Add-ons require an active membership and will auto-cancel if your base plan ends.
9. Events (The Coterie Retreat & Related Experiences)
Event registrations are subject to event-specific terms listed during checkout. Unless otherwise stated, all event payments are non-refundable but may be transferable. Munaluchi reserves the right to modify event schedules, speakers, or venues as needed.
10. Muna Bride Society (Free Memberships)
The Muna Bride Society is a free community for couples planning weddings. Members agree to use the platform respectfully, without spam, harassment, or unauthorized promotion. Munaluchi may remove or suspend any user for inappropriate conduct.
11. Content Submissions & Directory Listings
Vendors and partners may submit photos, videos, or written materials for publication or directory listings. By submitting, you grant Munaluchi a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your content (with credit when practicable) across our media channels. You affirm that you own or have permission to share this content.
All submissions must meet Munaluchi’s quality and aesthetic standards. We reserve the right to decline or remove any content at our discretion.
12. Community Conduct
You agree not to post or share any content that is defamatory, harassing, obscene, discriminatory, illegal, or violates another’s intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to moderate or remove content and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.
13. Intellectual Property & Trademarks
All Munaluchi logos, brand names, and site content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute our content without written permission.
14. Third-Party Links & Services
Our websites may contain links to third-party platforms or integrations (e.g., payment processors, community platforms). Munaluchi is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or actions. Use third-party services at your own risk.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no guarantees about specific results, bookings, or business outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Munaluchi LLC and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Munaluchi, its affiliates, employees, officers, and partners from any claim or demand arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
18. Termination & Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or misuse of our Services. Termination does not entitle you to a refund. Certain sections, including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Dispute Resolution, will survive termination.
19. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey without regard to conflict of law principles.
Before filing any claim, you agree to email [email protected] and allow 30 days for informal resolution.
Any unresolved dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration in New Jersey under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in a class or representative action. The arbitrator’s decision will be final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.
