Navigating COVID-19 has inspired couples to be creative with their wedding locations. We’ve seen couples get married in parks, backyards, courthouses, and beaches to name a few, and they have done so fabulously.
Today’s styled shoot shows how to plan an intimate, micro wedding on a farm. An alpaca farm to be exact! Photographer Amber Reid of Amber Jean Photography shares:
COVID can’t stop love from happening! Nestled in the hills of Somis, an alpaca farm was the perfect location for a fun, intimate, and romantic elopement styled shoot. How can one not smile when seeing cute fuzzy alpacas? Inspiration for the photoshoot was drawn from the current events in the wedding industry with couples having to downsize from a 100+ guest list to be allowed only a maximum of 10 guests. The vision of the photoshoot was to show currently engaged couples that although they may have to scale down their wedding, it can still be a beautiful one!

The ceremony was meant to highlight the natural landscape making the pepper tree the perfect backdrop.
The couple in the styled shoot is a real couple who wed last year. The groom, Taurean is a Firefighter, and the bride, Tara is a Registered Nurse serving our communities.
The cake, although smaller than your average wedding cake was carefully designed blending in peachy blush buttercream patches and gold splatters.
A picnic-style reception with fluffy pillows made for a cozy set-up where the couple and their guest could enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. Don’t let the laid back vibe override the beauty of this shoot. From the details of the glassware, rose gold flatware, perfect lettering on the name cards, and blooms in soft pastels, this shoot is screaming with romance and beauty.
