Black is King: Luxe 35th Birthday Celebration

Inspired by Beyonce’s “Black is King” visual album, Ronald’s 35th Birthday party was a regal celebration.

Planner, Belle Tifi Events shares, “We wanted to highlight black and yet give king of the jungle vibes. Everything from the decor to the attire for the event was focused on showing how powerful black is.”

What was the theme for the party?

This event was inspired by Beyoncé visual album “Black is King.” We wanted to highlight black and yet give king of the jungle vibes. Everything from the decor to the attire for the event was focused on showing how powerful black is. So instead of doing everything in all black, which is what everyone was expecting, we decided to have it as a pop of color to show how it doesn’t take much for us to stand out.

The food was absolutely amazing. Chef L.A did a great job with the menu. Which consisted of chicken Philly egg rolls for appetizers. Garden salads with the chef’s signature sauce. Miso salmon, Parmesan crusted chicken, and ribeye steak over garlic rosemary mash potatoes. For dessert guest was served vanilla rum cake.

Did you all play any fun games?

We had everyone come up and share special moments they had with the birthday boy. It was refreshing to hear how each person shared different bonds and experiences with him.

What entertainment was present at the party?

We enjoyed listening to great music as we talked over dinner. We also had a 360 video booth which the guest absolutely enjoyed.

What was the most memorable moment of the shower/party?

The most memorable moment had to be the look on Ronald’s face when we walked in and saw all of his close friends and family yell SURPRISE. He wasn’t expecting that at all. His reaction was priceless.
