Titled “Goddess,” this dreamy vision was masterfully brought to life by renowned photographer Elizabeth Messina. Hosted by The Hybrid Collective, the shoot offered an intimate exploration of the female portrait.

From a naturally lit studio to a moss-draped forest, attendees had the chance to witness Elizabeth’s brilliance as she guided her subjects into artfully composed yet effortlessly organic poses, blending photography and storytelling into timeless beauty.

Kathryn (Katie) Reynolds of Kathryn Jean Photography was one of the star pupils in attendance. Guided by Elizabeth, Katie captured the essence of the bride and groom played by Nikia Phoenix and Khalif Boyd.

This shoot with Elizabeth was called “Goddess.” It was a styled shoot where she taught us her approach and philosophy to photographing women using only natural light. What stood out the most to me during my time with her, was how she took the time to set the “mood” and ambiance for herself and the models. She always includes burning incense and some music.

Featuring two distinct bridal looks, the star outfit was certainly Claire Pettibone’s ethereal wedding gown.

Featuring intricate lace overlay details with delicate blue flowers and sheer sleeves, model Nikia, draped in pearls and styled with her natural hair, exuded the essence of a true bridal goddess.

The second equally enchanting bridal look was a ruffled purple and beige dress. Reminiscent of a flower’s petals gently unfurling, the unique style is perfect for brides seeking an elegant, romantic, and whimsical style.
