Describe your business. We are a full destination custom event planning company. Weddings are our specialty. We believe in the beautiful union of sight, taste and sound. We live the motto of “relentlessly pursuing style”
What did you do before starting your business in the wedding industry? shhh…I am a psychotherapist.
How long have you been in the wedding industry? I have been doing weddings on and off for the past 25 years. I took the leap in 2013 to incorporate after planning my only daughter’s lavish affair.
How would you describe your style? Classic elegance with modern highlights
What motivates you? I live for the couple’s jaw drop when they enter their wedding space.
Why should brides/grooms choose you? I am invested in bringing their dream to life. One of the planner’s greatest challenges is to give the couple what they want and not what you want.
How does your company define and measure success? When the couple loves what they see, adore what they taste and enjoy what they hear and feel. That is success.
What do you enjoy most about your work? Everything. Love is always in style and it is beautiful to look at.
Describe a proud moment while working in the wedding industry. My validation comes from my client’s. I am always thrilled when a couple calls with a referral. I barely advertise.
What’s the best compliment you’ve received for your work? I am constantly humbled that leaders in the industry consider my work worthy of a second glance.
What are your business goals? I would love to expand my niche concept of online wedding planning. It’s unique. Like a popup wedding planner.
What’s your favorite part of the wedding industry? Learning more about different cultures and how they all value marriage and weddings. It’s the cornerstone of every single culture.
What’s your least favorite part of the wedding industry? I try to maintain a positive outlook. My solution oriented personality doesn’t allow for much focus on the negative. I classify that as wasted mental energy.
Describe your vision of the “perfect” wedding. Being an island girl by birth, I just love anything surrounded by nature.
Where do you find the most inspiration? My morning meditation, before a trip to the flower market usually gets my creative juices flowing.
Is there anything else you’d like our readers to know? Your vision does matter. You know you’ve gotten it right when your coordinator can capture your dream and bring it to life. Therein lies the gift.
