Describe your business. Splendid Harmony is a full service luxury wedding design and production company that caters to each couple’s satisfaction in the planning of their wedding.
What did you do before starting your business in the wedding industry? I started a career as a nurse in 2001. However, since I planned and executed my own wedding in 2002, I fell in love with wedding planning. Then I dabbled in creative and artistic event planning until I decided to make it a business. That made my happiness.
How long have you been in the wedding industry? For 14 years since 2003.
How would you describe your style? My style is elegant, classy and romantic. I believe every wedding should be inspired by the luxury and essence of the beauty of each individual couple.
What motivates you? I’ve been madly in love with my husband since I met him in
2001. Love motivates me, he motivates me. And I love bringing people together through entertaining and creating memories for friends, loved ones and clients – whatever the event may bring. I am inspired by Creation and Life, our cherished gift. I live to bring happiness to others. My utmost career motivation is to make sure every bride gets her fantasy wedding!
Why should brides/grooms choose you? I bring a special luxurious and custom flavor to every wedding I design. I pay close attention to detail and see myself as a perfectionist with the highest standards. I succeed in bringing each couple’s individual wedding vision into cherished reality.
How does your company define and measure success? We measure our success by the jubilation on the couples’ faces in the afterglow of their dream wedding.
What do you enjoy most about your work? I enjoy creating and crafting stunning weddings for every couple, regardless of budget. I do not limit my services to one class or clientele. Every bride deserves to be a princess on her wedding day and Splendid Harmony makes that happen!
Describe a proud moment while working in the wedding industry. The moment each and every one of my Brides and Grooms walk down the aisle, ready to become one.
What’s the best compliment you’ve received for your work? The exhilarating tears of joy for their wedding dream realized.
What are your business goals? I would love to expand into a luxurious bridal salon while continuing to produce and design dream weddings.
What’s your favorite part of the wedding industry? Working with the Bride and Groom and surfing the trends for excellence.
What’s your least favorite part of the wedding industry? Sometimes I feel that the wedding industry is micro-focused on pushing vendors to create big, extravagant, cold and expensive affairs while ignoring the needs of most brides who want something more tasteful, intimate and meaningful. Another negativity is the fact that vendors no longer have exclusivity.
Describe your vision of the “perfect” wedding. Lots of aromatic flowers, romantic candles, royal feel , sophistication and luxury.
Where do you find the most inspiration? The Artist inside inspires me. I also have a keen eye on the trends in the wedding industry.
Is there anything else you’d like our readers to know? Splendid Harmony is more than weddings – we do before (the set up for the proposal), during (the wedding) and after (the honeymoon). We also do charity events, baby and
bridal showers, and of course wedding anniversaries. We do it all!
