Munaluchi Presents….Love and Television

As you can tell, Munaluchi is all about the celebration of love and romance between couples. For us, the best love stories happen every day in real life. However, it is undeniable that love stories on television and in movies often inspire. So, we present this new section which periodically highlights one memorable TV/Movie moment in which we, as spectators, celebrated true love.

Today’s installment of “Love and Television” is dedicated to everyone’s favorite movie, “The Best Man.”

Love and friendship, laughter and teasing soon turn to hurt, chaos, deep disappointment and, might I add, a terrible butt-whooping when Lance Sullivan learns his best friend, Harper Stewart’s secret. Just when we think Lance’s wedding to Mia is about to be called off for good, Lance has an amazing prayerful epiphany: marriage is a commitment made by two imperfect people to love each other for the rest of their lives. That scene is a reminder that real love is no fairy tale; instead, it is a conscious decision to accept a loved one just as s/he is.

I luved the part when the soft spoken bride- to- be, Mia drops the ultimate bomb on Jordan and confesses to the moment she had with Harper, that line.. “Good girls never tell”.. just killed me. There really is something special about a kiss on the forhead..totally relatable…
