Designers, fashionistas, and the bridal glitterati made their annual fashion pilgrimage to the Big Apple to view the triumphant collections of bridal fashion week. For the 2024 collections, designers gave the ‘more is more’ bride dramatic skirting, look-at-me statement veils, detachable sleeves, bows, and of course the playful mini.
Gazing into the future, there was a common thread among the designers of wanting something greater than themselves. By reconnecting with nature the gowns echoed the limitless wonders and possibilities of the cosmos, the desire for brides to be in tune with their own sense of playfulness and grandeur was woven into every look.
The founder of luxury brand HONOR echoed the sentiment of what many brides are looking for when dressing for the day of their dreams.

Veiled glory…
There’s just something about a veiled bride that evokes an emotional connection to the past. For some time, it has seemed as if the veil was slowly becoming a ‘who really needs it’ accessory for brides, but this season it has made its triumphant comeback. With maximalist options leading the charge, 2024 is the year of the veil and we love it.

Bows have always whispered a soft hello to brides and this year was no different. What better way to make a statement than to give us drama-filled, voluminous skirting down the aisle? Designers gave skirts new life with ruffles, 3-D appliques, and intricate details.

There was no shortage of minis either with some of the cutest styles ready to transport brides into the dream world of their imagination. These minis are the showstoppers that will take your wedding day look to the next level.
