It seems like more couples are meeting via online dating websites and apps these days more than ever. Chalynda and Timothy went from meeting on Match.com to saying their “I Dos” this past weekend. We’re excited to be sharing their engagement session and a sneak peek photo from their wedding courtesy of their fabulous photographer Nana Annan Photography. For their e-session, they took it back to the 2os with vintage clothing and fancy accessories. Nana Annan captured the vintage vibe perfectly in these photos.

Describe the engagement session: The engagement shoot was unforgettable. I always believed that I was meant to be a lady who grew up in the 1920’s and 50’s era. My fashion sense is naturally vintage. I totally adore lace dress gloves, umbrellas for the sun, fancy hats and beautiful femme hair. I love a gentleman who can wear the look! From the top hat, to the vintage clock clasp to his vest and all the chivalry that comes with a well dressed gentleman. This shoot made me feel like I was a part of that era come to life.
What did you do on your first date? Our first date was two parts. The first part was at church. Tim met me at my church because I was celebrating our Liturgical dance anniversary. I invited him to attend and he came! This had to be the moment for me when I knew there was something special about this man. The second part of the date was after the anniversary he took me to Mt. Fuji Asian Restaurant in NY. Unfortunately, this part of the date wasn’t the most romantic but it was the sweetest because I was totally exhausted from preparing for the anniversary at church and I couldn’t keep my eyes open but he still enjoyed the time and didn’t complain a bit!
Favorite thing to do as a couple? We just enjoy being with one another. Just being next to one another in a peaceful and relaxing environment.
