“Cobblestone streets, brownstone buildings, and the historic Brooklyn bridge provided the perfect picturesque backdrop for this simple, minimalistic modern styled shoot. Inspired by the vibrant Afro-Caribbean culture anchored in the neighborhood of DUMBO, the vibe, and the palette of the shoot personify the very essence of the borough. This shoot is a perfect inspiration for an intimate nuptial for a couple who love and appreciate the urban city life of Brooklyn. Hues of coral, orange, blue, yellow and red were intricately used in the florals, accessories, cake, and stationery. The bride wears a floral headpiece perfectly complimenting the Ankara pocket square worn by the groom. The couple wore traditional wedding pieces that were a great contrast to their background and surrounding areas. The second look for the bride – the jumpsuit is an expression of rebellion and freedom from the societal norms of wedding attire.”
