Following 3 days of inspiration, networking, and education at this year’s Coterie Retreat, on Thursday, December 8th, 2022, a group of Muna Coterie creatives collabed in an exclusive styled shoot at the Borghinvilla wedding venue in Discovery Bay, Jamaica.
Captured by Trene’ Forbe’s Photography and designed by Larger Than Life Events, this exclusive collaboration was an intimate affair by the sea! With multiple locations including a ceremony space overlooking the ocean, a green lawn for bridal portraits or cocktail hour (with tropical drinks, of course!), and a seaside reception area, the Borghinvilla wedding venue was the perfect backdrop for their styled shoot.
Elegant details included a lovely fit and flair mermaid gown by Petals & Promises modeled by Santoria’s Events LLC, decor by Lux Event Design, and local florals sponsored by Tai Flora Luxe Events. Other highlights include a sophisticated all-white wedding cake by a local cake artist, Weddings by Treatz, and glam hair and makeup by Coterie member Brittany Johnson of Society 111 and B John Beauty alongside Alicia Igess Jones for onsite beauty support.
Ultimately, this styled shoot not only represents the beauty of Jamaica, but also the power of collaboration. By working alongside local vendors, our Coterie Members showcase just how incredible destination weddings and events can be!
