Designer Crush – Hamda Al Fahim Couture Dresses

We’re introducing a new feature here on MBM – Designer Crush.  This is where we highlight designers that do fabulous work and are based anywhere in the world.  The emphasis will be mainly on designers not often celebrated here in the states in an effort to bring awareness to the beauty that exists elsewhere, and provide more inspiration for your wedding day style.

Anyway, I was mesmerized by this dress…an almost canary yellow lace dress that screams – wear me…now!.  The designer, Hamda grew up in Abu Dhabi and originally started out as an interior designer.   She’s been sketching gowns since the tender age of 12 and ultimately, her hobby became her career.

Her designs are inspired by a fusion of eastern and western influences and often incorporate contrasts of feathers and sequins.  Basically, her gowns scream dramatic elegance.  Indulge.
