Stacey and Jude met their senior year in high school, but didn’t really know much about one another. It was because of Stacey’s cousin that they met…she knew they both didn’t have prom dates and hooked them. Although they attended the prom, they still didn’t truly communicate much, then graduated and went their separate ways. Ten years later, thanks to Facebook, they linked up again and the relationship flourished from that point on.
In their engagement session, they took to the streets of Miami. It was fun, flirty and full of color. Totally loving the second part of their session where they re-enacted prom night…prom king and prom queen fabulosity!

What did you do on your first date?
The first date was at a restaurant and then we walked on the beach. We stopped by a bar and got a drink. We used the time alone to really get to know each other as adults.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple?
We love to go to different restaurants and try out new food. We also enjoy taking long car rides to nowhere.
How has wedding planning been so far?
It has been easy. We are not bride/ groom zillas. It has been stressless and open to suggestions. I have done almost all of the planning, phone calls, attended meetings etc. I want to enjoy my experience and remember it for the rest of my life. I want to be present and not have high or low expectations.
Tell us what you’re looking forward to most on the wedding day.
We are looking to have a memorable time with our friends and family. Neither one of us has ever had a celebration (birthday party, graduation party etc,,) on our behalf so this wedding will be for every graduation, birthday, and accomplishment that was never celebrated.
