Muna Coterie member Leah Langley-McClean of elleNelle Bridal showcased her latest bridal collection, “Release,” with an Old Hollywood-styled photo shoot.
Working alongside exceptional wedding pros from Nashville, Tennessee, this collaborative styled shoot highlights elleNelle’s latest “Release” collection which debuted on the CFDA Runway 360 website on October 10th, 2023.
The new bridal line draws inspiration from a pivotal time in Leah’s life. A period marked by tension and stress.
Leah shares, “The turning point came when I embarked on a journey to Sierra Leone following my grandmother’s passing. To my surprise, upon my arrival, I was engulfed by an overwhelming sense of liberation and serenity—a profound weight seemed to lift from my shoulders.”
While paying tribute to her grandmother’s memory, she found herself moved by the sight of hundreds of people coming together.
“It struck me how much my grandmother would have cherished the opportunity to be a part of such a gathering in her lifetime.”
It was during that time that her appreciation for weddings and their significance truly blossomed.
“[Weddings] are one of the rare occasions where all your loved ones converge in one place,” she shares. “This realization became the driving force behind the theme of our latest collection: The Transition from Tension to Freedom.”
In her latest collection, “Release,” each gown is a physical manifestation of that journey.
The dresses encapsulate the exquisite beauty of letting go and finding freedom, mirroring the transformation I experienced during my journey to Sierra Leone.

Conceptualized and designed by Leah Langley-McClean herself and captured by Muna Coterie member, Ndy Images, their talented team created an Old-Hollywood-inspired shoot at the 100 Taylor venue in Nashville.
By melding the mysterious allure of the location with the timeless elegance of Old Hollywood, and with a nod to the glamour of a bygone era, we aimed to create a photoshoot that captures the essence of sophistication, nostalgia, and intrigue.

Inspiration…
The inspiration behind this photo shoot was the captivating allure of “Moody Old Hollywood Glam.” It all began with the remarkable location, which exuded an industrial and lofty atmosphere that immediately piqued our creativity. The enigmatic metal structure you see behind the model, still a mystery to us, turned out to be a captivating and unconventional backdrop.
The design…
The room itself possessed an inherent moody ambiance, thanks to the dim lighting, and we decided to build upon this foundation. Adding a touch of drama and elegance, we introduced a pop of vibrant red through the presence of hydrangeas and rose trim gracefully cascading onto the couch. To complete the picture, we strategically placed candles throughout the setting, infusing the scene with a truly captivating and moody ambiance.
Embracing Old Hollywood Glam…
The choice of “Old Hollywood Glam” was a seamless union with the moody setting. The stunning gowns featured in this shoot are part of the latest elleNelle Bridal capsule collection, aptly named “Release.” These exquisite dresses draw inspiration from the mid-century era, paying homage to iconic figures like Dorothy Dandridge and Marilyn Monroe.
