Event Description: Georgette with Pea to Tree Events came up with the inspiration of Girl on Fire to empower women and to feel the passion that they have towards their significant other. The shoot day was amazing! All participants came with high energy as the song “Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys resonated throughout the event venue. It is our hope that with the styled details throughout this shoot that it would ignite that fire, passion and add inspiration to those future brides as they plan their wedding day!
Inspiration: Passion. The kind of love that breaks barriers demands a wedding just as fierce. This shoot was created to combine love and power, for the couple who has it all, and knows it. The dominance of black and subtle elegance of grey, combines with just enough color to enhance the details of this glamour shoot. Grey, black and white embodied luxury with a modern touch. Adding a hint of gold, accented throughout to complete the look.
Alicia Keys’ “This Girl is on Fire” inspired this power balance of masculine and feminine energy. As women, our desire to be who we are can at times take a back seat to whom the world wants us to be. With that in mind, showcasing irrefutable confidence and true desire, on the most special day in every woman’s life was my number one goal.
Venue: We chose Emmanuel Luxury Venue, because of it’s modern design. The entire feel of the space intensified my vision.
Flowers: Earth tone, white, and an abundance of greenery. We created a non-traditional piece to complement the modern feel.
Cake: A four tiered cake with black lines. Enhanced elegantly with a mosaic of grey, black and gold shapes. Simple yet sophisticated, a sugar flower rose, with gold trim added to the ultimate simple modernity of the cake.
Attire: The bride wore an Eddy K Gown, with an intricate jeweled embellished plunging V neck. The low back gown featured a floor length sweep train. What else could complete this look but a pair of Sarah Jessica Parker point heels?
Tables-cape: The main focus of the table was the bold statement centerpieces. We created a cascading effect of green, with ivory roses, and well-placed hydrangeas. We used a lot of gold elements, including the flatware and completed the design with ivory dish-ware and diamond shaped table numbers.
