Hot Miami Beach E-Session: Angela + Kenneth

What impresses you the most on a first date? When Angela went on her first date with Ken, she was impressed with the fact that their first date was inexpensive. That’s right ladies…inexpensive. Angela shares, “Our first date was at a coffee shop. We spent hours sitting there talking about everything you can possibly imagine and it didn’t require an expensive south beach dinner. As a financial advisor, I was actually impressed by Ken’s prudence with money. A few months later, when we were in a serious relationship, he took me on a date to Paris. He’s amazing!”

Now this jet setting couple is planning for a gorgeous wedding in Cancun, Mexico with Beautiful Purpose Events. In celebration, the couple had a hot engagement session in Miami. They did not have a theme, but instead  Cendino Teme Photography captured the couple having fun on the gorgeous Miami beach. We wish this couple all the best on their upcoming nuptials.

The Proposal

We were on a New Year’s cruise in Brazil and he took me to the very top of the ship overlooking the vast ocean underneath the moonlight. He talked about all of the places we had traveled to in the last year and asked me where I wanted to travel to next. He said 2015 was going to be an exciting year. Then he pulled out a small box and asked me what I thought it was and he asked me to marry him. Now we are traveling to Mexico… to get married!!

Engagement Session

Our amazing wedding planner and friend, Renee Jones of Beautiful Purpose Events referred us to our incredible photographer, Cendino Teme. Renee recommended that we do an engagement photoshoot and Ken really wanted to do it at the lighthouse. We had no theme… all we had to do is show up at the beautiful lighthouse on the beach and Cendino took it from there. Renee also recommended a makeup artist, Natasha Gross of NG Makeup Artistry and she did my makeup before we went to the shoot. All of them did such a great job that all we had to d was have fun!

Favorite Thing To Do as a Couple

We both love watching movies and traveling. Now we have two doberman pinscher puppies that we are focusing our attention on.

Wedding Planning

Wedding planning has been absolutely fun and exciting. I think the best decision I made was to hire a wedding planner. I thought about trying to do it myself, but now, I’m so glad I didn’t. I hired my good friend, Renee Jones of Beautiful Purpose Events and she has taken so much of my plate. There are so many things I would not have even known and she has so many great connections. She referred me to the best photographer, best makeup artist and does all the planning tasks that aren’t much fun. It really allows me to focus on my business and work on the fun pieces of planning the wedding. I’m loving it!

Looking Forward to the Wedding

We are having a wedding “weekend”, one of the cool things about doing a destination wedding. We are looking forward to having all of our family and friends in one place for a few days all having fun and enjoying each other. I am looking forward to playing dress up and becoming his wife!
