Scandal star actress and current Vanity Fair cover girl Kerry Washington has married San Franciso 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha in a private ceremony on June 24th in Blaine County, Idaho, reports E! News. Kerry Washington’s parents, Valerie and Earl were witnesses to the ceremony.
The couple, who have been an item since Summer 2012, are dedicated political activists and passionate philanthropists. Nnamdi Asomugha not only serves as a chairman for the Asomugha Foundation but he was the ambassador for United Way of the Bay Area in 2010 and Kerry’s a part of President Obama’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities as well as the Artists Committee for Americans For The Arts.
