Temi Otedola & Mr Eazi’s Couture Wedding Trilogy: Monaco, Dubai, Iceland

A fashion editorial-esque love story spanning three countries. Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi’s weddings were a blend of couture fashion and cultural artistry.

A fashion-forward, multi-country destination wedding where artistry and fashion collide

Why have one wedding when you can have three? For Temi Otedola and Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known as Mr Eazi, love unfolded as a global tour of artistry and culture. A civil ceremony in Monaco. A traditional Nigerian celebration in Dubai. And finally, a white wedding in Iceland that felt equal parts avant-garde and cinematic.

Each chapter was guided by style. With Carrie Goldberg of CLG Creative curating Temi’s wardrobe, and Jason Rembert (who was part of the wardrobe styling team for our cover with Anika Noni Rose) styling Eazi, the couple treated guests to a visual feast of couture, craft, and cultural heritage.

A Chic Civic Ceremony in Monaco

At Villa La Vigie, once Karl Lagerfeld’s home, Temi wore a custom Wiederhoeft corset, skirt, jacket, and veil. Eazi kept it sharp in custom Louis Vuitton. The fashion did not stop at “I do.” Temi later slipped into a custom Christopher John Rogers polka-dot dress with a Gigi Burris hat and Saint Laurent shoes. Eazi pivoted to a James V. Thomas tuxedo jacket and LV tailoring.

The day closed with dinner at Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, where Temi wore another Wiederhoeft corset look and Eazi mixed a J. Mueser jacket with Auralee and Manolo Blahnik.

Nigerian Wedding Traditions at Home in Dubai

The July ceremony at Temi’s family home honored Nigerian traditions with layered artistry. Over the course of the day, Temi shifted through four dramatic looks. She began in a custom Zac Posen gown with Manolos, then moved into Miss Sohee couture with an ethereal cape, followed by a hand-beaded Lisa Folawiyo Studio ensemble, and finally an Oscar de la Renta gown for the afterparty.

Eazi matched the energy in custom designs from Mazelle, Baba Jagne, Lisa Folawiyo Studio, and Toure Designs, punctuated with Saint Laurent and Tom Ford.

The celebration drew a global guest list including Aliko Dangote, Diplo, and Kah-Lo, yet remained deeply personal. “Dubai was about heritage,” Eazi shared in his Vogue interview. “It was a chance to celebrate our Nigerian culture on a global stage.”

A Fashionable White Wedding in Iceland

By August, the couple took their final vows in the striking Hallgrimskirkja church in Reykjavik, followed by a reception at Kleif Farm and an afterparty at the Edition Hotel’s members-only club.

Before the wedding festivities, a rehearsal dinner at Harpa Concert Hall set the stage for what was to come. Temi wore a mocha-hued lace Valentino dress and Eazi was dressed in custom Amiri. The next day, Temi started her glam in vintage DSquared2, then stunned in Fendi Haute Couture for the ceremony, later changing into a House of Gilles gown and cape, then a custom Ludovic de Saint Sernin for the afterparty, crystallized boots included. Eazi shifted from Saint Laurent tailoring to a McQueen tuxedo and, finally, a custom “Love Is Eazi” embroidered jacket by Toure Designs.

The ultimate surprise came from John Legend, who sang “All of Me” as the couple danced under the Icelandic sky. “It felt cinematic, like a dream we had written together,” Temi reflected in her Vogue interview.

Fashion as Storytelling

From Wiederhoeft to Fendi, Miss Sohee to Ludovic de Saint Sernin, every look was intentional. Each outfit change was more than couture. It was a narrative. A dialogue between culture, artistry, and the couple’s personal identity.

“Fashion is part of our story,” Temi told Vogue. “We did not want costumes. We wanted pieces that told the truth about who we are.

Hot Springs Recovery Day

The next day, guests luxuriated in a Hvammsvik hot springs wellness experience. Only a 45-minute ride from Reykjavik, the property includes 8 natural hot springs. Guests can enjoy the warmth of the hot springs, or opt to take a cold plunge in the ocean. The experience was the ultimate ending to a unique wedding weekend.

The morning after, the celebration melted into wellness. Guests retreated to Hvammsvik Hot Springs, just a 45-minute scenic drive from Reykjavik, where eight natural hot springs overlook the ocean. Between warm mineral soaks and daring ocean cold plunges, the experience was the perfect finale to this radiant and one-of-a-kind wedding.
