This is exactly what designer Audrey Hambavi of Occasions Designed and her team set out to prove. Set on the Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton, California, their luxurious outdoor micro wedding shows just how versatile and glamorous a single space can be!
With micro weddings on the rise in the wake of the global pandemic, many couples are opting to cut down on their guest lists and are having intimate outdoor weddings instead. Keeping these trends in mind, Audrey wanted to emphasize that “a smaller guest count [actually] allows for opportunities to have a more detailed and personalized event.” She adds that “intimate weddings can be luxurious and romantic.”
Ultimately, their luxurious outdoor micro wedding captures the essence of the beauty found in outdoor ceremonies. It also showcases the luxurious possibilities an intimate celebration can present!

The bride…
The dress…
The bride of this luxurious shoot wore a custom strapless fit and flare gown made of silk satin. At the neckline, it featured hand beaded Swarovski crystal embroidery! A one-of-a-kind beaded capelet, Swarovski crystal Juliet cap headpiece and cathedral veil completed her look. Ultimately, her outfit is “perfect for the bride who wants to look elegant with a touch of glam!”
The ceremony…
For the ceremony, Audrey adorned the elevated altar with a grounded floral arch of white roses and greenery. She hoped to “showcase the beautiful cascading waterfall backdrop making for a romantic and breathtaking view.”
She adds: at the center of the ceremony, “a traditional pitched structure of wood beams wrapped with romantic Wisteria vines, to which we added white draping, created whimsy and [an] ethereal feeling.”
The reception…
Inspired by the outdoors, Audrey’s team used a “clean yet impactful floral color palette of white hues and greenery” to compliment the natural beauty of their venue. They added elements of gold in the tabletop decor and in the Escort card champagne wall at the reception for some extra glam!
