Graphic designer Halston Shannon is on a mission to reinvigorate wedding stationery, creating a luxurious wedding invitation experience that couples and their guests are excited about and can cherish for a lifetime.
“I’ve always been a creative at heart,” Halston shares. “My background is in graphic design and branding, and for over a decade, I worked with businesses to develop their visual identities. However, I never envisioned myself in the wedding industry—until one viral moment changed everything.”
In 2024, Halston’s unique wedding invitation design exploded online, reaching over 1.5M views, 78K shares, and 282K likes!

Created for Adler and Shamar Marchand (whose engagement session was featured on MunaLuchi Bride!), the stunning booklet blended 3D elements with video, instantly captivating brides, planners, and even celebrities.
For Halston, the breakout moment was an exciting surprise. “People weren’t just impressed—they were emotionally connected to the experience,” he recalls. “That’s when I realized that wedding stationery could be more than paper; it could be a luxury experience that sets the tone for an entire celebration.”
Leaning into the experience, Halston took a chance and dived into the wedding industry full-force.
In 2025, he rebranded his business to focus entirely on luxury, immersive wedding invitations, bringing innovation, storytelling, and high-end craftsmanship into the wedding stationery world.
He explains, “Instead of just designing, I became a storyteller, crafting elevated, keepsake-worthy invitations that make a statement. My pivot into weddings wasn’t just about following demand—it was about fulfilling a new standard of luxury storytelling in the industry.”

What makes your brand unique?
I create more than invitations—I design immersive, multi-sensory experiences that set the tone for the entire wedding.
Traditional invitations are beautiful, but they are often forgotten after the big day. My designs, however, are interactive keepsakes that couples and guests cherish forever.
What sets my brand apart is that I combine:
- Storytelling – Each invitation is custom-designed to reflect the couple’s love story.
- Luxury craftsmanship – From design to production, every detail is intentional.
- Exclusivity – These invitations aren’t mass-produced; they are crafted for couples who want a one-of-a-kind, high-touch experience.
My work has been seen on NBC, featured by Munaluchi, and embraced by top wedding professionals, solidifying my brand as a new standard in luxury wedding stationery.
Why stationery/invitations? And how did you first conceptualize the 3D invitation?
I’ve always been passionate about branding and visual storytelling. Invitations are often the first impression of a wedding, and I saw an opportunity to make that moment unforgettable.

The concept for my 3D invitation came from wanting to elevate traditional stationery. Instead of just printing words on paper, I wanted to create something immersive—a design that allows couples and guests to feel the emotion, elegance, and excitement of the wedding before it even begins.
I combined my branding expertise with a deep understanding of luxury aesthetics and experiential design. The result was a first-of-its-kind wedding invitation that went viral. Now, I’m building a brand around that innovation, bringing something fresh and exclusive to the industry.

Describe your creative process.
My creative process is highly personalized and intentional.
- Understanding the couple’s vision – Every invitation starts with a consultation, where I get to know the couple’s love story, wedding aesthetic, and overall vibe.
- Concept Development – I sketch ideas, explore textures, and experiment with luxury finishes and interactive elements to create something never seen before.
- Design & Refinement – I translate these ideas into a fully immersive design, ensuring every detail aligns with the couple’s vision.
- Production – Once the final concept is approved, it’s brought to life using high-end materials and premium printing techniques.
Every invitation is a work of art, designed to be as unforgettable as the wedding itself.

Looking to the future, what are you most excited about for your business? And why is being a part of MunaLuchi’s Coterie important to you?
I’m most excited about continuing to push the boundaries of luxury stationery. My goal is to make immersive invitations the new standard for high-end weddings and to collaborate with top wedding professionals who share my vision for innovation.

Yes! I’ll be exhibiting at the MunaLuchi booth at A Brides Expo in June 2025, where I’ll be showcasing my immersive invitations to wedding professionals and engaged couples. I’m also working on expanding my portfolio with new high-end concepts that will continue to redefine luxury stationery.
Additionally, I’m focusing on strategic collaborations with luxury wedding planners, photographers, and stylists to bring more immersive invitation experiences to high-profile weddings. My goal is to inspire and elevate the industry, making every couple’s first impression of their wedding a truly unforgettable moment.
