Modern, Lux, and Romantic - Boathouse Styled Shoot in Virginia -Munaluchi Bride

Set in Richmond, Virginia at the Boathouse at Rocketts landing, this modern romance styled shoot showcases elements of contemporary luxury with a pastel, crystal and metallic palette. Textural while polished, the design elements compliment each other nicely while still remaining singular, standing out on their own.

The vision for this styled shoot was to create a modern, romantic look with a pop of luxury. I chose The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing in Richmond, VA as the venue because of its close proximity to the water with floor to ceiling windows and some other great areas for photos nearby. I was going for a mixed metal look with marble as an accent. In addition to the mixed metals, we went with black, white, & blush. The florals were designed to be lush & romantic with the overhead piece adding the luxury look that we were seeking to achieve. The models for this shoot were fantastic because they are a married couple and their natural chemistry comes across on the camera. Almost all the vendors involved in this shoot have ties to my hometown (Caroline County, VA).
The tablescape vision was glam with various textures & levels of marble, crystal, & gold details to compliment the elevated statement centerpiece consisting of cascading orchids & lush floral in classic blush & white color palette.
