The saying “everything’s bigger in Texas” often applies to weddings as well. However, this intimate modern & minimalist wedding editorial shows sometimes “less is more.”
In the wake of Covid, couples and planners alike have undoubtedly altered the way they think about weddings. Beth Walker of 36th Street Events shares, “…something good that has come from the shift is scaling down on all the “extras” and instead getting really intentional with simple, yet sentimental and stunning details.” Working with workshop host Jenna McElroy of The Editorial Series along with an amazing team of vendors, their talented team created this modern & minimalist shoot focusing on just that – all the little fun details that are sure to wow your guests!
Set against the crisp white walls of Austin, Texas’ beloved venue, The Grand Lady, highlights include modern acrylic furniture, colorful pressed florals, and a vibrant color palette of reds, oranges, and pretty pinks. Models Alexandria and Gray posed as bride and bride, both looking stunning in a suit from The Suit Shop and an elegant dress from WAYF. They accessorized with shoes from Bella Belle. A finishing touch for the shoot was amazing florals from Remi + Gold. “If you look closely, you’ll see the hints of ombre rainbows incorporated into the design of the arrangements. Truly artwork!”
