They met in the home of the historic Fenway Park. Jessica had recently moved to Boston to complete her residency and Nnamdi had already been there for work. A mutual friend, now their best man, urged Nnamdi to get Jessica acquainted with the city by showing her around. That casual arrangement led them to form a lasting friendship that later turned into a lasting love.
The beautiful couple wanted a fun and playful engagement session that would express how easy it is for them to love one another, Jessica shared. Tell us a little about the engagement session
Planning with our photographer Roland of Raat Fashion and stylist, we decided on Ellicott City because of its old town kind of feel. We wanted a classic city look with us in our natural elements, enjoying each others company. For a second scene we picked a red barn in rural maryland. The barn was a spontaneous decision but we sighted it and thought we could get creative with it. We wanted the shoot to be relaxed and express how easy it is for us to love each other.
What did you do on your first date?
Nnamdi is a great planner and planned a surprise date for us. We were living in Boston, MA at the time so he booked a guided tour of the Newport Mansions in Rhode Island, which are beautiful historic mansions. After the tour at the mansions we headed over to TD Bank to watch a Boston Celtics basketball game.

Exciting! It is fun beginning to merge our ideas, styles of planning, and families.
