On how Andre proposed: “Andre was leaving for work at about 6 am on Friday Feb. 12, 2010. I was still sleeping….He woke me up as he kneeled down bed side. As I opened my eyes, I saw the ring still in the box. I thought it was a dream. He then said. ‘I have one question before I give you this ring. Are you in this for the love of Andre?’ After I laughed uncontrollably, I said yes and the rest is history!” -Selina
On the wedding planning process thus far: “Andre gave me full control over the wedding planning, however he still likes to have input or veto certain decisions that I make. We want the wedding to be a hip celebration rather than just your average summer wedding. The theme of the evening will be modern vintage. The venue is a charming club house with elegant vintage furnishings and décor. I plan on combining that aspect with my modern style. The finished product will be timeless, elegant, and unique.” -Selina
