Gladiators! Did you catch the Scandal finale tonight? Well we did, and while there were the usual Shonda twists, this finale certainly could have used a little more fire, don’t you think? So we’re remixing it tonight with this steaming hot Scandal-inspired editorial shoot put together by our Coterie member Tara of Perfect Planning Events and a fabulous team of DC area Coterie members and wedding vendors.
Remember towards the end of the finale, when Jake let Olivia know that his “job was done?” Well, we were at the edge of our seats waiting for her to run into his arms and proclaim her undying love for him. But Shonda forgot to add that into the script so we took it upon ourselves to do a little editing! In this shoot, Jake and Olivia get married in perfect Olivia Pope style. From the sophisticated decor, including an intricately designed cake by Couture Cakes by Sabrina, to the carefully thought out details like the sparkly cake topper by Ten23 Designs, this shoot represents the perfect #Olake wedding.
