Sindi and Errol Bennett’s love story started with laughter. Sindi recalls, “Errol and I met while waiting for our cars in valet at the Cheesecake Factory in Buckhead, Atlanta. I started a conversation with him with a slightly inappropriate joke. He laughed and the rest was history.”
After a surprise proposal in front of family and friends, the couple decided to celebrate their engagement with a “Sex and the City” themed photo shoot photographed by Milanes Photography. The Proposal
I thought we were going to his company’s Christmas Party at the Ellis Hotel in downtown Atlanta. As I walked into the ballroom, all I could see were my closest family and friends and a million I Phones staring at me screaming “Surprise!!” I looked to my right and Errol was on his knee. I barely heard him ask if I would marry him because everyone was screaming. I just nodded my head YES, because I knew I would agree to whatever he asked me lol. (Even if I couldn’t hear him). We danced the night away and I was glad I was able to share that moment with the most important people in my life.
Their First Date
We met up for dinner at Kiku Japanese Restaurant on Camp Creek.
Favorite Thing To Do as a Couple
Going on our weekly sushi dates to our favorite restaurant Blue Fin (now Kuroshio Sushi Bar and Grille) . They know our names and what we will order as soon as we sit down. It’s our little “Cheers” LOL
The Engagement Session
We wanted a “Sex and the City” photo shoot with the beautiful Atlanta Skyline. Our AMAZING photographer Cathi Milanes with Milanes Photography recommended that we shoot in the lobby and on the helipad of W Atlanta Downtown. The décor of the lobby and the helipad were perfect. It was fun having the guests of the hotel cheer us on while we took our pictures!!
Wedding Planning
It has been exciting and stressful at the same time!! I am so thankful for my wedding planner Eliana w/ EllyBEvents. I just do what I’m told, even though it might not be when she wants me to. LOL
