Inspiration…

Upon designing the styled shoot, I was thinking of all brides around the world that would want to experience a wedding that is tailored to them, a wedding that is timeless. Meaning five to ten years from now, there would not have been any regrets.

A vision of timeless luxury…

Starting from the planning and designing, the whole aspect of the wedding was customized to their needs. The inspiration behind the styled shoot was to present it as a timeless luxury. Luxury is not solely the wedding dress, the flowers, and other items that were used. Luxury to me starts from the first meeting and the customer service rendered from the vendors and I. I truly wanted to design a styled shoot that felt personal so a future bride could look at it and say I can see my spouse and I being catered to, photographed, and surrounded by lush flowers this way.

Color story & details…

The Timeless Luxury theme where the colors used were vibrant and rich. I went with beautiful soft draping which was intended to give the couples a sense of privacy, black and gold furniture to provide a regal feel, and baby’s breath, white roses and orchids to bring a sense of heaven and a dreamy feel to the shoot. All white flowers were to be Pure.

Attire…

The stationary I wanted them to tell a story, and to represent the couple’s personality, the cake design was to create a never go out of style design. I personally picked the bride’s dress, the shoes, the hairstyle she wore, the makeup, and the hair pieces to truly bring the bride’s personality up front. The groom, I wanted him to feel special, all of his pieces were hand-picked. The overall results were priceless and timeless.

Florals…

I incorporated my design around orchids because they signified beauty and strength which were important elements of the shoot. Some of the highlights included working with vendors I’ve always been fond of along with the outcome of the shoot. It was thrilling to witness my baby come to life before my eyes.

Goal…

My goal was to showcase luxury within the elements of an intimate wedding. However, my primary focus was to showcase intimacy and a strong sense of love between the couple. I am  passionate about a clean white palette. During my initial meeting with the florist I decided to add a pop of black and a touch of gold upon his suggestion. I wanted a floral design to compliment the models, but also one that would make a statement.
