Purple and gold details along with knit and fur textures, beautiful floral accents and an elegant placement of assorted pastries helped achieve warm and intimate ambiance in the middle of winter. The woodsy location and sunset helped tie everything together for this gorgeous fall/winter styled shoot.

“The inspiration for this shoot came from the cozy elegance that is the transition from the end of fall to the winter months. When I think of love, I think of warmth, light, romance and intimacy. What better way to reflect that than through a styled shoot during golden hour; complete with fur and wool details, purple and gold accents, hot cocoa, delicious finger deserts and wine. I love different textures and wanted to incorporate them in the shoot as well. I wanted to portray a classic elegance for this shoot. Purple and gold have great significance for me. Not only do I love the palate, but I also attend East Carolina University where our colors are purple and gold. The purple and gold color combination is a very regal palate and a beautiful way to transition through the fall/winter season. I photographed this shoot on film, which gives the images an added touch of nostalgia.”
