Mariah and Mossette’s engagement session brought chic fashion to rustic outdoor spaces in Washington, D.C., and trust us, it works!
This gorgeous couple had instant chemistry on their first date. Mariah shares, “When we first met, the vibe and energy matched. When Mossette offered to take me to breakfast/brunch, I knew this was the one.” After Mossette’s romantic proposal in front of friends during a trip to LA, the couple started planning the wedding of their dreams. We took a trip with friends to LA and had photos scheduled for everyone. I proposed to Mariah during the session.
When did you know he/she was “the one”?
When we first met, the vibe and energy matched. When Mossette offered to take me to breakfast/brunch, I knew this was the one. It was different from the typical dinner or drinks, and I enjoy brunch & mimosas.
Describe your engagement session. Did you have a theme?
We wanted a session that was dope that would capture our personalities and love for each other.
What did you do on your first date?
Brunch : )
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple?
Spending time together at home cooking together or out on the town attending a show for some of our favorite local artists/bands.
How has wedding planning been so far?
It has been good! looking forward to seeing our ideas and vision go from the planning phase to the execution phase in October 2021.

Looking forward to celebrating the beginning of a beautiful black love story with family and friends. Many of them we have not seen in months due to covid so it will be a special occasion for all of us. #HappilyHeath
