Tell us how you met and all about the proposal. Our journey of love started on November 22, 2014 when two people decided to take a chance with fate online. During the first few weeks of us getting to know each other there was an immediate connection. Over the weeks, months and year, that connection naturally blossomed into a deep-rooted and loving relationship.
Knowing he found the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, Jean proposed to Tomika on Valentine’s Day 2017 at the MGM National Harbor. Tomika could not have said yes to a better offer than spending the rest of her life with such an amazing human being. Our celebration of love on October 6th will mark a new beginning as we are happily joined together as one.
What did you do on your first date? We met at the National Harbor, MD at a Thai restaurant called the Thai Pavilion.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple? As foodies…our favorite thing to do as a couple is trying a different restaurant every week in Washington, DC.
How has wedding planning been so far? All the stressful and heavy lifting of the entire wedding process has been done by the phenomenal Shalyce of Sensational Soirees.
