Brought together and inspired by the location of the 2018 MunaLuchi Coterie Retreat, this beautiful bridal styled shoot captures the elegance of wedding fashion within tropical blue Bermuda. Featuring bridal wear designed by MunaLuchi Coterie member Yemi Kosibah Osunkoya, hair styling by MunaLuchi Coterie member Deshawna Briscoe of Stephanotis Bridal Hairstyling, makeup artistry by MunaLuchi Coterie member Candice Hardy, planning by MunaLuchi Coterie member Yolanda Furbert of To Have and to Hold Bermuda – all perfectly captured by MunaLuchi Coterie member Teshorn Jackson Photography.

Before the Coterie Retreat Yemi and I decided to collaborate on a shoot when we got to Bermuda. I found a local model (Rochelle) who’s also a designer and connected her with Yemi.
I knew that Candice Hardy won the full scholarship so having her be the makeup artist would be an additional value added for her being part of the project. DeShawna Briscoe of Stephanotis Bridal came on board as the hair stylist. Yolanda Furbert the local planner was able to connect us and drive us to Sandy Mount Bermuda which is one of the islands newest luxury vacation and events rental properties.
I agreed on the location because it inspired me. It has structure lots of blues from the sky and ocean surrounding it. I also noticed the tall mature palm trees which I knew I had to incorporate into the shoot. Yemi chose 3 dresses for us to shoot and strategically placed the model in a scene that complimented each dress.
