Tell us about how you met and all about the proposal. The first time I saw Vanessa was at my church and I was in awe, I wondered who this beautiful woman could be. The first time we actually met was through a mutual friend during a workout.
I proposed to Vanessa during her 30th birthday party, all our friends and some family were there. We had a DJ to play at the party, so I had the DJ play a voice note of when I got the blessing to propose. When that finished playing I walked up to her, took the ring out of my pocket, said some heartfelt words, and asked her to marry me. She said Yes!
Describe your engagement session. Our engagement session had different dynamics to it, we had photos and videos done. We did the shoot at the location Vanessa and I first met and where we first interacted. Part of the shoot was on top of a hill while the sun set and below a wooden hut at the arboretum, the second half of the shoot was in Humberlea’s library.
What did you do on your first date? We went to one of Vanessa’s favorite restaurants, we had some great food and lovely conversation.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple? Our favorite thing to do as a couple is travel. On a more daily or weekly basis we love to get cozy and watch a good movie with some popcorn. We’re foodies, so we love going to restaurants to enjoy amazing meals.
