Vanessa Hayward, wedding planner, and MunaLuchi Coterie member, approached us with this idea for a wedding inspirational shoot. We were both instantly drawn to pampas grass and a velvet pink theme. Bluegrass Chic had a beautiful geometric arch that we used for a ceremony backdrop and repurposed for a head table backdrop. We wanted to keep it simple for the reception and layered on pink textures and tones. Overall we wanted to keep things effortless and dreamy.

For our models’ attire, we wanted a very over-the-top feminine look for our bride, complete with mantilla veil lined with lace from Girl & A Serious Dream and Ines di Santo ball gown (both from The Bridal Finery). Her bouquet was filled with Dahlias and a delicate silk ribbon. The groom wore a unique patterned suit from H&M and simple pampas grass boutonniere.
