It’s common knowledge that Vera Wang is a close family friend of the Kardashian Klan, and this has been proven several times by the TV family’s choice of her as designer for the most festive moments in their lives. She designed for Khloe when she got married and was chosen once again to design all the three dresses Kim wore on her wedding day.
Now, Vera Wang is taking that collaboration to a whole new level by reconfiguring two of Kim K’s three wedding dresses (the gown she wore for the wedding ceremony and her first-dance mermaid dress) and offering them up for sale through her much lower-priced David’s Bridal collection. The prices are so budget-friendly for a Vera Wang creation that they are each below $1600. Of course, don’t expect to get an exact Kim K “kreation”, but this one’s pretty close.
Those interested have only a little while to wait: the dresses will be available in David’s Bridal Stores after February 2012.
