Alexandria can thank the DJ for saving her life and for introducing her to her love. “We met at my 17th Birthday Party, which he crashed with a high school friend. Fortunately for me this friend was a disc jockey and he saved my party from being an epic failure! Nine years, two degrees and one long distance relationship later he became my best friend and the love of my life.”
Alexandria was exhilarated by the fashion and romance of the 1950s. Channeling the iconography of the classic era, the gorgeous couple used the theme to showcase their love in this fun and elegant engagement shoot.

Talking for hours, making each other laugh uncontrollably, and our ritual Sunday drive for ice cream.

Christmas morning (2014) after a 24 hour shift I arrived at home to open gifts with my family and out of nowhere he appeared, went down on one knee and popped the big question! And as the saying goes, “the rest was history.”
“He always reminds me of what I wore that night and how he realized how beautiful I was, both inside and out,” Alexandria shares of their first date.
How has wedding planning been so far?
Initially it was overwhelming but with advice from our loved ones and a wedding planner, everything is coming together wonderfully…so far. We’re keeping our fingers crossed!
Tell us what you’re looking forward to the most on the wedding day.
After almost a decade of being so close but yet so far (long distance relationship) we are looking forward to the I do’s and making it official. Also, sharing laughter and making memories with our family and friends and of course departing immediately after for our HONEYMOON.
