Marchesa, a luxury bridal and eveningwear red carpet favorite started up by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, is set to launch their first fragrance this Fall called Marchesa Parfume d’Extase. The bottle is truly a stunner!
“We didn’t want anything too sweet,” Craig told WWD. “Georgina and I don’t like perfumes that can smell sort of sickly, so that was very important when we were going through the process.”
“We looked at our handbags and the signature crystals they have, and we really wanted to incorporate that element,” said Chapman.
Priced between $25 to $85 a bottle, the new Sephora-exclusive Marchesa fragrance (available August 24th) has notes of iris, young violet leaves, jasmine, ambrox, musk and freesia. The crystal-embellished bottle itself is a a true reflection of the glamorous elaborate fantasy style that Marchesa is known for.
