Antila and Jason's gorgeous black and red-themed wedding gave us the perfect combo of love and glam in sunny Miami, Florida.

Jason and Antila’s vision of a black rose themed wedding with its bold black and red color story came to life with the help of Lux Lifestyle Events and Temple House Studios in Miami Beach.

With Jason popping the question on Thanksgiving Day in 2021, the couple knew exactly what they wanted to have for their modern and glamorous ceremony. In the fall of 2022 in sunny Miami beach Florida the couple, along with singer and actress Keke Wyatt, celebrated their nuptials with family and friends at the luxury event space: Temple House Studios.

With huge bouquets of red roses lining the aisle to greet guests upon their arrival to the couple’s nuptials, the black and red theme flowed seamlessly throughout the entire venue from black and red monogrammed chairs with the couple’s initials to the reception space, which dazzled with centerpieces of roses and carnations.

How we met…

Tee: We met through a family member. Jason is a friend of my older brother. I would purposely never look at him once I noticed he was attractive. I would avoid eye contact and keep conversations brief (basically “hi and bye.”) A few years later, he sent a message for me to call him which I assumed was concerning my brother… but to my surprise it was to ask me on a date.

Jason: I really liked Tee, just from being around and seeing what type of person she was. I knew how I felt about her from the beginning.

Our proposal story…

Tee: Jason proposed 11/24/21 which was Thanksgiving evening in our Atlanta home in front of our friends and family.

Jason: Tee had no idea. She was so excited about our new home purchase that she definitely missed things she would have usually noticed regarding the secret. It’s hard to get things past her…after saying “yes” she then said, “I didn’t get my nails done.” That was funny!

Our wedding style…

We both had custom attire. I chose a bespoke gown with Ese Azenabor and I was very hands-on to ensure my vision came to life. Jason had a custom tuxedo from the Miguel Wilson Collection in which he hand-picked fabric, buttons, and even the black stones on the lapel. I took my time with every detail to ensure it represented my style and showed our love.

Our inspiration…

The inspiration for the wedding was black, roses, and glam. Black is my favorite color and I wanted to represent how elegant it can be. Red roses are my favorite flower and when you put those two together in the right way, you have a masterpiece!

Jason: My best memory was seeing the bride walk down the aisle.

Tee: The greatest moment was the vow ceremony. Jason’s vows truly had everyone needing a tissue.
