Nick and Racole casually met at a business conference. After seeking to share ideas concerning their businesses, they found a greater connection as friends. After a while, the friendship blossomed and Nick ultimately asked Racole to be his lifetime friend, partner, confidant and when he asked for her hand in marriage with a surprise proposal before their church congregation.
They were married in front of family and friends in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Florida. The guests were amazed with the stunning natural scenery and lush flower arrangements in shades of purple, pink and ivory. In what is becoming a popular decision among brides, Racole wore a gorgeous formfitting gown with gold accents for the ceremony, and changed into a chic ivory pantsuit during reception. Wedding Style
My wedding dress and veil were custom designed by my long-time seamstress. Since the design theme of my wedding was vintage elegance, my dress was made of lace and was accented with various gold and pear embellishments. My favorite wedding accessory was my veil.
Incorporation of Culture
We incorporated our faith into the marriage by having both of our mothers say a prayer during the ceremony.
Most Memorable Moment
Seeing each other for the first time as I walked down the aisle. We did not do a first look prior to the ceremony and we are happy that we decided to do that as it was pure emotion as I came down the aisle.
Help a Bride-to-be Out
It is always advised to plan for the marriage and not the wedding. I echo that advice. That means, do not allow your relationship to succumb to the pressures of planning. Along those lines, hire a planner. Although a planner cannot shield you from all of the headaches, a great planner can shield you from most of them! Finally, determine your guest list first, That will drive every decision including, but not limited to, venue and budget.
