Ciera and Joey made “herstory” at their opulent wedding among the timeless grandeur of The Chelsea Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada!
The moment Ciera and Joey locked eyes as Joey served Ciera a drink at a bar, a beautiful friendship began to grow between them. It didn’t take long for them to get close, and one thing led to another, and suddenly their feelings transformed into something deeper than friendship.
An impromptu late-night hangout session turned our friendship into something more…The rest is [her]story.
Simple yet heart-achingly romantic, Joey and Ciera didn’t have a grand proposal, but agreed while having lunch together one day that they were each other’s person and they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. From that moment, they began planning their wedding and got matching tattoos on their ring fingers.
Ciera and Joey’s wedding unfolded like a fairy tale as they celebrated their nuptials in a grand, but intimate setting, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Their authentic love and joy in marrying one another were prominent on their beaming faces throughout the entire celebration.
Their luxurious reception featured an abundance of blush-toned florals, feathery pampas grass, and elegant candelabras. In place of a wedding cake, they treated themselves and their guests to a tower of chocolate-covered strawberries, “a sweet nod to their indulgent love”.

How did you meet?
Joey was working at a bar and served Ciera a cerveza with a smile, and then they were suddenly in an immediate friendship. Despite Ciera’s lack of interest in musicals, she agreed to go with Joey to what turned out to be a really bad musical (Tinderella).
“We had a great time and knew we were going to be lifelong friends. Eventually, an impromptu late-night hangout session turned our friendship into something more. That Wednesday night we kissed for the first time. Two weeks after that kiss, we were saying I love you. The rest is [her]story.

Tell us about the proposal.
There was no grand proposal; one day we had lunch during work and then decided we wanted to be with each other forever. This turned into wedding planning and matching tattoos on our ring fingers.

Describe your wedding style.
Joey, stunning in a fitted trumpet style gown, complete with delicate lace details, and Ciera, equally as breathtaking in an Alena Leena ball gown with a plunging neckline, beamed with joy as they walked down the aisle towards each other.

The reception that followed was a masterclass in luxury and sophistication, with feathered pampas grass centerpieces, delicate candelabras, and lavish flower arrangements in natural tones. The theater transformed into a sumptuous oasis.

Did you incorporate any culture into your wedding?
We chose to “jump the broom” in honor of our ancestors who were unable to be legally wed for centuries.

Surrounded by their closest family and friends, serenaded by soultry sounds of violinist Kiev Morales heightening the emotional atmosphere, the opulent setting, complete with spotlights, gilded balconies, and plush red seats, provided a dramatic backdrop for their love story which unfolded like a fairy tale, with every word, every glance, and every smile.

What is your best memory from your wedding?
Our first dance was magical. It felt like it was only us in the theatre. It was perfect and unplanned.

What is the best wedding advice you can give to engaged couples?
Joey: Have fun with the planning process and remember the only goal is to get married.
Ciera: Don’t sweat the small stuff, I know it’s basic, but really no one else matters except you and your person, so act accordingly.

Ciera and Joey shared their first dance as wives and as they swayed to the music, the audience held its collective breath, captivated by the love on display.
