PHOTOS – Recap from our Houston Open House at The Chateau Cocomar

2014 is off to an awesome start!  To kick of the year, our first tour stop was at the picturesque Chateau Cocomar in Houston, Texas. It was the Chateau’s first open house of the year and a chance for Houston wedding professionals and brides-to-be to connect with one another and get to know more about the Munaluchi brand.  Our host, Chioma of Dure Events went all out with the planning and designs.  We started the night off with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the ground level.  Guests were given a copy of our TourGuide – Houston Edition and had a chance to take a photo at the backdrop which was adorned with the most beautiful paper flowers by Balushka.  There was also a saxophonist serenading the crowd.

While sipping on cocktails, guests were awed by the over-the-top decor and installations provided by Darryl & Co and Keisha’s Kreations.  Keisha created a unique X-table design, with delicate linens in gold and beige and the prettiest of flowers. She also set up a romantic black and fuschia tablescape…we are loving that color combo btw!  On the other side of the room, Darryl & Co set up a swanky and elegant tablescape and lounge area.  Flowers cascading, luxury linens, rustic tables and glamorous chair covers were all part of the mix.  The rental furniture was unparalleled, and provided by Jade of PropRock Inc.  When thinking of your reception and cocktail hour decor, don’t skimp on the rentals.  The right rental furniture alone can take your event from ok to exceptional.  Definitely check PropRock out to see more of their inventory.

After our Editor-in-Chief gave a welcome talk, guests were escorted up stairs lined with Balushka’s gorgeous flowers to the second level, which showcased another exceptional lounge and bar setup by PropRock Inc.  Our Coterie members also had a chance to display their services to the brides-to-be in attendance and even raffled off fabulous giveways!  For music, LG Entertainers kept the dance floor alive while drinks and finger foods flowed throughout the night.  It was truly a spectacular event.  Below are some photos from the night, and you can view the full photo gallery on our facebook page.
