Tell us how you met and all about the proposal. We met through a mutual friend in college. Jonathan’s proposal was quite magical. He flew my entire family down to South Carolina, rented out a plantation, and had a band play our favorite song while everyone held signs each representing a highlight in our relationship. All the while I thought I was attending my father’s surprise party. Little did I know I was walking directly into my proposal.
What was wedding dress shopping like for you? Wedding dress shopping was incredibly hard for me, simply because I am incredibly indecisive. However, when I put my first dress on I knew that it was made for me. My wedding gown reminded me of a vintage dress with a modern twist.My second dress was modern, chic and sexy.

Favorite item on the menu: The food was incredible, but the lamb was our
absolute favorite.

What is your favorite memory from your wedding? My favorite memory was our ceremony. We had scattered thunderstorms all throughout the day. My wedding planner suggested we take the ceremony inside. However, we decided to do it outside despite the storm looming over us. A minute after our ceremony ended, and we all entered inside, a storm emerged. Quite frankly it was like the Wizard of Oz. Miraculously, no one got wet, and we even managed to get a rainbow.
What is the best wedding advice you can give to engaged couples? Despite being pulled in a million directions, this day is about the both of you. It’s a celebration of your love, let your wedding represent that.
