Elegant Family Style Pink and Grey Wedding in Charlotte -Munaluchi Bride

The Ritz-Carlton was the perfect venue for Susan and Wilburn’s summer wedding. The bride wore an elegant a-line gown with lace and pearl beading, her sparkling browband accentuated her elegant look. During the reception guests enjoyed a family style dinner and a bevy of sweet treats. The couple said family is very important, which was demonstrated with pictures of their families weddings displayed as part of the decor. Their photographer, Aura Marzouk, captured the beauty of their their wedding, which was put together with the help of their wedding planner, Trenard Laurentis of Savvy Orchid.

Wedding Style
My wedding dress was an ivory, a-line gown with beaded cap sleeves. The gown included crystal beadwork in the front, back and along the bottom of the dress. My favorite accessory was my crystal encrusted browband, inspired by Alicia Keys.

Culture
Family is an important part of our African-American culture so our guests were served dinner with family style dining to give our guests a more intimate dining experience. We also included some African songs during our reception to pay homage to my husband’s African culture.
