An Elegant Ivory and Blush Spring Wedding in New Jersey

Geraldine Gabriel and Eric Tyler had a picture perfect spring wedding. To embody the essence of spring, the couple went for soft shades of blush and ivory. They worked with their wedding planner and designer, Prestige Affairs, to bring a sense of warmth and romance into their reception space. Sparkling crystal candelabras, ivory table linens and amber uplighting enhanced the luxurious feel of their amazing venue, which featured two grand staircases that led to a marvelous marble dance floor. As soon as the reception started, guests knew it was time to party. Geraldine shares, “I am Haitian and my husband is American. We both are also part of the Greek family. I am a Zeta and my husband is a Sigma. Our DJ incorporated Konpa (Haitian music) and had all of the Greeks dancing on the dance floor the whole night.”  Monika Broz Photography beautifully captured the Tyler’s most special day.

Wedding Style

My dress was a strapless sweetheart neckline with beaded appliques on a tulle mermaid skirt. My favorite accessory were my drop earrings.

Incorporation of Culture

I, the bride is Haitian and my husband is American. We both are also part of the greek family. I am a Zeta and my husband is a Sigma. Our DJ incorporated Konpa (haitian music) and had all of the greeks dancing on the dance floor the whole night. The dancing started immediately after the ceremony was over. You will see us dancing a lot throughout our pictures.

Most Memorable Moment

The best memory for me was looking down the aisle and seeing my future husband waiting for me. For Eric it was kissing me for the first time as husband and wife.
