Gizcelle and Quentin’s love story began over a decade ago. They started out as close friends and began dating their senior year of high school. Since then, their love has grown tremendously and lead them to start their journey as husband and wife.

Tell us how you met and all about the proposal. Quentin and I first met in school back in 2006. We were both new to the school and really didn’t like each other or get along too well. We never paid attention to one other until our junior year of high school. We became close friends during our junior year. We became a couple our senior year in 2007 and have been together ever since.
Quentin proposal’s involved one of his friends serenading me at my favorite restaurant. I was very surprised and in tears!
What was wedding shopping like for you?
My wedding dress was a beautiful lace sweetheart mermaid dress that was bought at Bridal by Lori. Wedding shopping for me was bit stressful but I had a wonderful wedding coordinator, Brittany Bell, that kept me on track and focused on what I needed to get done.

What is your best memory from your wedding? Dancing the night away and saying the words “I do.”
What is the best wedding advice you can give to engaged couples? Take your time with planning because you only do this once, have a great team working on your wedding, and make sure God is first in everything you do!
