We are sending our congratulations to “My Big Nigerian Wedding” Season 1 Winners Yemisi & Yomi. “My Big Nigerian Wedding” is a reality TV show and wedding competition organized by WED Expo. Yemisi and Yomi entered the contest along with over 700 couples! After a rigorous round of voting and a grand finale, they emerged as the winners, walking off with a wedding and a luxurious honeymoon at Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai.
On Thursday 17th and Friday 18th July, the lucky couple had two weddings, a traditional and white wedding ceremony. It was a true fairy tale, as Yemisi wore four exquisite gowns, including a show stopping tradition ball gown with long sleeves! Guests danced the night away on a clear Lucite dance floor, and were amazed by the towering flower arrangements and the intricate 5-tier pink wedding cake!
If you are feeling lucky and you have a wedding coming up in the next year, you can enter the contest for Season 2. This time around, there will be two all expense paid weddings – one in Lagos and one in Abuja! Entries for the competition will be taken at the WED Expo this October from October 10th to 12th at Tafa Balewa Square, Lagos Island, while Abuja entries would be at WED Expo Abuja from October 17th to 19th at M&M Event Center, Garki, Abuja.
